"Brands with History" event, July 5th 2017, at the Ecali Club
... To "remind" and inspire all attendees of the success of doing business which always has Vision, Name and History...
With these words, ECALI S.A’s Management welcomed prominent Brands with a history to the unique facilities of the Ecali Club in a very moving ceremony, on July 5th, 2017, in which beloved Manolis Mitsias enchanted the guests, with his performance of songs by Greek composers who wrote history.
For this special landmark evening, combined with EKALI S.A.’s 93 years and the Ecali Club’s 46 years, the anniversary album "Brands with History" was published, which was handed to all guests, as a memento of this special event.
As the pages of the album unfold, one can see the inspiration and the vision of brilliant entrepreneurs which were materialized with efficiency and dedication, while hardship or poor timing were never an obstacle.
As difficult as it may be for texts to capture long journeys of people and activities, the album "Brands with History" succeeded in doing so, causing emotion and admiration.
The album also gives readers the opportunity to read about the history of EKALI S.A., which completed 93 years of its journey and the Ecali Club’s 46 years of hospitality. A story that began with the inspiration of creating a model settlement, and, through the vision of important people of the time, became the most well-known community of Greece. In 1971, the company, having successfully implemented the project and the vision of its founders, set up the first country club in Greece, the Ecali Club, which almost half a century later, remaining true to its values, continues to be the most attractive area and point of reference for both the high level of services it offers in hospitality, catering, sports, events and, of course, social and professional networking.
These two special anniversaries were celebrated by EKALI S.A. at the Ecali Club with its corporate partners who comprise “the Ecali Club Business Community", under the thematic concept "Brands with History", by awarding outstanding Brands, recording their history and awarding the owners and top executives of these historical companies. The special event was presented by journalist Emmy Livaniou, who spoke about her vision, her inspiration, "the power of offering".
For this particular evening, Ecali Club management designed a special commemorative gift, a porcelain plate with the first map of Ecali drawn up in 1921. Awards to the representatives of the companies, which took place in a particularly emotional climate, were presented by The President of EKALI S.A., Mr. Leonardos Chatziandreou, the Managing Director, Mr. John Georgakakis, Board member Mr. Alexandros Dimakopoulos, member of the Latsis Group Mr. Konstantinos Panagidis, and representatives from Chambers of Commerce.
Also present were Mr. Simos Anastassopoulos, President of the American Hellenic Chamber, Mr. Nikos Sofianos, Secretary General of A.C.C.L., Mr. Nikos Karageorgiou, President of ESVEP, Mr. Giorgos Xiroyiannis, Industrial and Sectoral Policies of SEV Hellenic Federation and Enterprises, Mr. Giorgos Thomakos, Mayor of Kifissia, and Deputy Mayor Dimitris Lianos.
