The ECALI RUN was introduced for the first time in January 2017 as
a big open sporting event in the northern suburbs. It was welcomed
by all aiming to enhance the Ecali Club’s sports actions, and it aspires
to be established as a tradition...
The participants’ passion for the event, the great turnout and the
runners’ enthusiasm are bringing it back in 2018, on Sunday, 4th February.
Our motto remains the same! “We run for sports, we run for life”.
Our concept also remains the same! Women, men, children run
in two routes; 5 km and 10 km for adults and 1 km for children,
starting and ending at The Ecali Club. At the end of the races, a
special event will take place for all the participants, consisting of
an awards ceremony, food, drinks and music.

Race 10 km
Start time: 10:45 am
Route description: The route will start and finish at The Ecali Club, which will host all runners at a special event with prizes, food, drink and music.
Water supply: There will be a supply station in the middle of the route and at the finish.
Participation: Runners over 16 years old, who run under their own responsibility and have recently been examined by a doctor. Under age runners must necessarily have the written consent of at least one of their guardians.
Timing-Results: The timing of the race will be held by All About Running (a company responsible for the timing of the Authentic Marathon of Athens and 100 more races throughout Greece) with the My laps system.
Race time limit: Runners must complete their attempt within 1:30. If more time is required, they will run under their own responsibility.
Prizes-Age categories: All runners who finish will receive a commemorative medal.
The three (3) first men and three (3) first women in each race will be awarded in the following age categories.
Men, up to 39 years old
Men, 40 to 49 years old
Men, 50 to 59 years old
Men, 60 years old and above
Women up to 39 years old
Women, 40 to 49 years old
Women, 50 to 59 years old

Eligibility: Children up to 12 years old have the right to participate under the responsibility of their parents, and should have a recent medical certificate.
Timing-Results: The timing of the race will be held by All About Running (a company responsible for the timing of the Authentic Marathon of Athens and 100 more races throughout Greece) with the My laps system.
Race time limit: There is no time limit to the Children’s race.
Prizes-Age categories: All children who finish will receive a commemorative medal.
The three (3) first boys and three (3) first girls in each race will be awarded in the following age categories:
Boys up to 7 years old
Boys, 8 to 10 years old
Boys, 11 to 12 years old
