On Sunday, May the 17th, 2020, the established running event “Ecali Run 2020" will take place, starting at the Ecali Club.
Runners must be born before 2005 in order to participate in the races of 5 & 10 km. Starting time is at 10:30.
Children of 3rd to 6th grade are eligible to participate in the 1,000 meters run.
All participants will receive:
Water supply in an intermediate station, and at the end of the race
Basic food distribution at the end of the race
Clothing storage service upon request
Medical supervision during the races
Digital performance certificate (it will be available within 48 hours of the end of the race)
Gifts from the event’s sponsors that will be included in a draw.
Start
The races will start as follows:
Men's and Women's elite race for 10km starting 1' before the general start, at 10:30 am.
Open Men’s and Women’s 5km & 10km race with a common start at 10:31am. The time frame for finishing the 10km is 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Kids’ race for children of 3rd - 6th grade, will start at 11: 50am.

Participants will be responsible for filling in the registration form, separately for each athlete at the link below:
Applications can be submitted until Wednesday 13 May 2020 at 22:00.
No entries will be accepted on the day of the race.
The participation cost per distance is as follows:
• 10km - 15€ / participant
• 5km - 15€ / participant
• 1km kids race - 5€ / participant
There is an additional cost of €5 for those who wish to order the technical souvenir t-shirt of the race. This option will be available to those who will apply until March 2, 2020. Payment of the participation fee is possible ONLY by card (credit, debit, withdrawals, etc.) through the online system.
The registration is considered valid only when the payment has been completed.
Participants will be able to receive their membership number and chip as follows:
• Auto distribution from touch screen system in downtown Athens from Saturday 7th March to Thursday 14th March
• From the Registration desk at the Ecali Club Lobby on Saturday March 16th from 10:30 to 17:00
• From the Registration desk at the Ecali Club on Sunday, March 17th before the start of the race, between 08:00 and 10:00.
Runners participate with their responsibility. They accept as per the terms of article 8 of Law 1599/1986, that they are aware of the penalties involved as well as that they have carried out the necessary medical tests which prove they are capable to participate in the run.
The race will take place on a circular, asphalt road, closed to traffic.
The run will be electronically timed and the SEGAS rules will apply in accordance with the Athletics Federation Technical Regulations regarding the organization of off-stadium events.
